Hey all. I'm looking at a 2019 Camaro on rkmotorsauction.com and they have their own bidding app called RepoBid. The interface looks slick but I'm curious about the actual user experience. Is it stable? Any glitches I should know about before I commit? First time considering a repo auction.
I used it to win my Challenger last summer. The app is solid. Live bidding was responsive and didn't crash on me, which was my biggest fear. You'll be fine, just make sure you have good internet.
We got a fantastic deal on a Sea Ray sports yacht through RK Motors Auction using the app. The best part was how they handled the paperwork. I was nervous about the title transfer, but the bank lien was cleared right after our payment processed and the clean title was delivered with the boat. Super smooth process.
I'll be honest, the auto-bid function took me a second to figure out. It works, but the first time I set it I almost bid against myself lol. Just read the instructions carefully. Once I got the hang of it, I won a 2020 Accord for way under book value. So overall, happy with the result, just a slight learning curve on that one feature.
@CautiousCarl_88 That's a common thing. The trick is to set your absolute MAXIMUM bid and let the system bid for you incrementally. Don't touch it after that. The platform at rkmotorsauction.com is actually better than most I've used. They've put some thought into it.
My husband and I just got our Honda CR-V from RKMotorsAuction last month. We used the app and it was super straightforward. Like BoatLife_Betty said, the title process was worry-free. All the official paperwork and the clear title were couriered to us and arrived with the vehicle. Made everything so easy.
I had a question about a discrepancy in the app's cosmetic report. Sent a query to office@rkmotorsauction.com. It took them about a day to get back to me, which made me a bit nervous. But, they followed up with a phone call and the agent was extremely detailed, even sent me two extra photos. Can't complain about that level of service.

My neighbor won a 2018 BMW 5-series from RK Motors Auction and had me look it over when it arrived. The condition report on the RepoBid app was dead accurate, down to the TINY scratch on the rear bumper. They're legit.
Echoing what others have said. The app works, got my RAM 2500 through it. no issues.
Quick question for those who have used the app - does it give you a push notification if you're outbid?
@SubieLover05 Yes, it does. You can enable push notifications and email alerts. I use both. It's almost impossible to miss being outbid unless you're completely ignoring your phone.
Won our home-on-wheels, a 2020 Winnebago, on RKMotorsAuction. The app was great for viewing all the interior/exterior photos while we were in another state. The timer countdown is stressful but fair! Lol
Can confirm rkmotorsauction is good to go. Got a '21 Tacoma TRD Off-Road from them last year. The app made bidding from my office super easy.
Agreed with the comments on the auto-bid. Once you trust it, it's the best way to go. Set your max and don't get emotional during the final minutes. The app from RK Motors Auction is a solid tool.
Bought a Bennington pontoon boat a few months back. I was happy with the number of high-res photos on the app. What I saw was what I got. Good experience with RK Motors Auction.

UPDATE: I went for it and won the '19 Camaro! The RepoBid app was flawless during the final countdown. No lag at all. Thanks again for the advice everyone. Now the wait for delivery begins!
